Roy Keane put his manager of the month award into the garage, so he says. Easy for him to say with all his shiny trophies and gleaming honours. TSA, on the other hand, having won nothing since a pencil case for a spelling test in fifth class, will be giving the award for Best Sports and Recreation Blog in the Irish Blog Awards that it won on Saturday night pride of place on its mantelpiece.

Now, just need to get a mantelpiece.

The awards do was a spiffing affair in the Alexander Hotel in Dublin, organised with Teutonic efficiency, if slightly Irish timekeeping, by the herculean Damian Mulley. Fair play to ya.

Well, I mean the work is reward enough in itself, but yes, it is terribly nice to be nominated

Voting is now open for the 2007 Irish Blog Awards, which will be held in the Alexander Hotel in Dublin on 3rd March.

TSA (ever so humble) is included in the long-list of nominees in the Best Sport and Recreation Blog category.
